Take that! When celebrities hit back at Twitter trolls


Abhishek Bachchan's response to a troll on Twitter created waves on social media on Wednesday. When a Twitter user shared a meme that joked about how Aaradhya would not like Abhishek's movies and wonder why her mother, Aishwarya, married him, here's what the Junior Bachchan had to say:

Pop star Lady Gaga was furious for being criticised for gaining weight. She hit back at her Twitter trolls saying she is "proud at any size".

9. Demi Lovato

Singer-actress Demi Lovato hit back at her haters after she received mean comments on her weight gain on undergoing treatment for bulimia and self-harm.

10. JK Rowling

'Harry Potter' author JK Rowling revealed the sexuality of Albus Dumbledore, the headmaster of Hogwarts, in 2007 to much controversy at the time. Some fans on Twitter are still having difficulty coming to terms with the revelation. Rowling gave a withering response to a fan who couldn't see how Albus Dumbledore was gay.
