Irrfan Khan's looks in 'Qarib Qarib Singlle' is inspired by his son!

The recently released trailer and the very first song of Irrfan Khan's next, Qarib Qarib Singlle have created a storm on the internet and has been garnering much love from across the quarters.

Irrfan's character, Yogi's fresh and young avatar has been widely appreciated by all. The actor has donned multiple quirky outfits which is one of the major highlights of the film.

Interestingly his look has been inspired by his son Babil. Irrfan worked closely on the look of his quirky character.

The bowler's hat worn by Irrfan, which is Babil's favourite, has also been inspired by his son.

The very first song from the film Khatam Kahani also showcases varied looks of Irrfan's quirky character as Yogi.


Irrfan has been riding high on the success of back to back hits. He has become synonymous with good content cinema, and now after delivering the huge hit Hindi Medium, Irrfan is all set to deliver another out of the box content movie with Qarib Qarib Singlle.

The actor has delivered critically acclaimed performances time and again. Qarib Qarib Singlle also provides an interesting take on singles venturing into online dating hence Irrfan's character need to be styled in a way.

Tanuja Chandra shares, "We needed Irrfan's character to have an odd sense of style which would be cute and attractive at the same time. His son, Babil has a quirky way of dressing and Irrfan as well as our stylist, Maria Tharakan put together some colourful and fun outfits for the film. Yogi isn't shy of sticking out in public and that's what the clothes achieve."

Presented by Zee Studios, 'Qarib Qarib Singlle' is A Jar Pictures production and is helmed by filmmaker Tanuja Chandra, the film is shot across real locations of Bikaner, Rishikesh and Gangtok and is all set to release on 10th November 2017.

Fatima Sana Shaikh trolled online for shameless selfie!

Dangal actress Fatima Sana Shaikh came under fire on social media over a selfie she posted on her Instagram account last week.

The actress is wearing a sari designed by Swati Mukund in the picture, which she captioned "Shameless Selfie".

The image created a stir among fans and trollers, who slut-shamed the 25-year-old, demanding the picture be taken down.



A user wrote, "She is becoming very shameless after only one film. Only god can handle her." Another user wrote, "Allah say toh Daro jahanoom he milega tume burkha pehnooo. (Fear Allah, you will be sent to hell. Wear a burqa.)"

Few, however, showed support to the actress.

"Ignore them dear. You look fabulous," wrote a user.

This is not the first time that the actress has been attacked on social media. Earlier in June, Fatima was slut-shamed for posing in a bikini during the month of Ramadan.

Hate Story IV gets its release date!

The fourth installment of erotic thriller franchise, 'Hate Story', will hit the silver screen on March 2, 2018.

The film, produced by T-Series and directed by Vishal Pandya, stars Urvashi Rautela as the leading lady along with Karan Wahi and Vivan Bhatena. The team recently released its movie logo along with Urvashi's look from the film.


The fourth installment promises Hate darker than ever. The actress who plays the character of Tasha says it is a unique and incredibly brave story.

Arjun Kapoor goes out of his way for a fan in London!

Arjun and Ileana were shooting a scene in the crowded area of Oxford Street in London for their upcoming film Mubarakan, tourists mobbed both the actors. At one point, Arjun noticed a lady with a baby in a pram, waiting to say hello to him. She was from the Middle East and was a huge fan of the actor

A source adds,"One evening Arjun and Ileana were shooting in the crowded area of Oxford Street in London. As expected, tourists gathered there which and mobbed both the actors. But the security present didn't allow anyone to come close to them. At one point, Arjun noticed a lady with a baby in her hand waiting to say hello to him. The crowd was getting too much by then. He called out to her and asked his security to let her in. She was from the Middle East and was a huge fan of the actor. Arjun then spoke to her for a while and clicked pictures with her and her baby. She also mentioned that he should be visiting Middle East as there are many fans of him"

Chiselled abs, powerful warrior look and a villain's attitude, Rana Daggubati has nailed it with his intense Bhallala Deva look in the new poster of 'Baahubali 2.'

The 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' presenter, Karan Johar, took to his Twitter page to share a picture of the 32-year-old actor posing fiercely in front of a three-headed lion idol.

He captioned it saying, "Presenting #Bhallaladeva from #baahubali2 @RanaDaggubati @ssrajamouli ...the epic releases 28th of April at a theatre near you!!!!!"

While Daggubatti is the villain of the movie, Bhallala Deva, Prabhas is playing the dual roles of father and son, Amarendra and Mahendra Baahubali.

Directed by SS Rajamoulli, the flick is all set to hit theatres on April 28 to conclude the story that began with 'Baahubali: The Beginning' two years back.

Clash of Titans Again: This time it's Shahrukh and Akshay!

Recently we saw some big movies with with stars clashing against each other and we can say that it is not a wise decision. On Republic Day 2017 we saw a clash of the titans at the box-office with Shah Rukh Khan's 'Raees' and Hrithik Roshan's 'Kaabil' both releasing on the same day.

Now, there's another set of big Bollywood films heading for a mighty clash on the Independence Day weekend. According to an update shared by film trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Akshay Kumar's 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' will collide with Imtiaz Ali's Shah Rukh Khan-Anushka Sharma starrer at the box-office. The two films will hit cinemas on August 11, 2017.

Earlier, Akshay Kumar's 'Crack' was scheduled for an Independence Day release and 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' was to hit the screens on June 2, 2017. Due to production delays, 'Crack' will not be releasing this year, and Shah Rukh's film could have availed a solo release. The change in the release date of Akshay's film has now slotted the two superstars against each other at the box-office.

Incidentally, last year's Independence Day weekend had also seen a big clash, between Akshay's 'Rustom' and Hrithik's 'Mohenjo Daro'.

Shraddha and Shyloh's time!

Shraddha Kapoor who is busy shooting for her upcoming film Haseena, loves to spend time with her pet Shyloh when she is home.

The actress after a tiring and exhausting day at shoot, prefers to spend at least 15-20 minutes with her dog.

Shraddha's dog, Shyloh, mops around her room when she is not home and wait for her outside her room.

Although when she gets back from the shoot, she tries to spend some time with her dog Shyloh. This being her downtime, Shraddha has realised that how much it helps her and of how much value it is!

When Kangana Ranaut accused filmmaker Karan Johar of nepotism on his chat show, it was taken lightly as the conversation ended up on light notes. But later when Karan hit back at Kangana and said "She was my guest and I had to hear what she had to say. She has a right to have an opinion. When she says 'Flag bearer of Nepotism', I just want to say to her, I am glad she knows what it all means. I don't think she has understood the entire meaning of the term."

Amit Sadh learns skiing in Gulmarg!

Amit Sadh is quite passionate about traveling and never misses any opportunity to unwind on his high-end bikes scouting scenic locations.

The adventure junkie who loves trekking and climbing the hills is currently stationed in Gulmarg (Jammu & Kashmir) taking skiing lessons and learning the sport.

Amit has opted for a 4-day beginner course and is being trained by the professional trainer Fayaz. Interestingly, the talented actor who used to hate skiing because of the falls earlier is now eager to catch on with the sport and take it to the advanced level.


He says, "I used to go for skiing with my father when I was a kid! Now, it's like re-introducing myself to skiing, it's a great sport. I am doing a 4-day beginner course right now. I've had a few falls but they say in skiing, falling is a part of leaning. It is also very essential to do and learn the basics very well, since I am skiing after a long time. I'm getting trained under Fayaz, who is on the national team and very skilled and a great trainer."

"This is season's last snow and from April the snow will start melting! I aim and hope to be back soon and make more trip and brush up my skill for advanced slopes. Since I have spent a lot of time in the hills, my first love is climbing and mountaineering. Skiing takes a lot of patience and mental alertness. I told Ramu sir (Ram Gopal Varma), that I am of to skiing. He said, 'please come back in one piece. We have a film to release and promote,'" adds Amit.

Talking about Gulmarg, he says, "This is one of the most beautiful places in our country. The people here are beautiful, helpful and very warm. They work very hard battling the cold and making conditions safe for tourists and skiers.

Richa excited to join stand-up comedians on stage

Actress Richa Chadha is excited to do a special set with a few stand-up comedians here.

Richa said in a statement: "I think making people laugh is a tough task. And by doing so you can capture an audience like no other. Stand-up (comedy) is something I have always been intrigued by because it doesn't feel so rehearsed and these guys who are up on stage literally take the pulse of the audience and reactions and build their jokes or lines accordingly.

"And that I think is a commendable thing to do. I agreed the moment the idea of doing a guest portion for a stand-up comedy special came to me. It was an instant yes. It's going to be a whole new experience on stage which is far different from acting."

Amar Singh has claimed that the Bachchan couple haven't been staying together for years now...

Politician Amar Singh, at one point, was Amitabh Bachchan's biggest confidante. Things have changed and so has their relationship. But Singh has now made some shocking revelations about the Bachchan family.

While talking to the media, clarifying the allegations levelled against him of creating a rift in the Samajwadi Party, he indirectly informed the press that Big B and wife Jaya Bachchan are staying separately.


ABP Majha quoted Amar Singh. He said, "People blame me for every possible rift in the country. When the Ambanis split, they projected me as the person who created the Mahabharat between them. It wasn't me. People have said the same about me and the Bachchans. But even before I met Amitabh Bachchan, he and Jaya Bachchan were living separately. One of them was living in Pratiksha and the other lives in his other bungalow Janak. There were also speculations about a problem between Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Jaya. I am not responsible for that."

While clarifying his stand, Amar Singh has ended up making strong accusations against the Bachchan family. We wonder how the Big B is going to react to this.
