Kareena feels proud to be part of 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'

Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, who starred alongside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in 2015 blockbuster "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", says she feels "proud" to be part of the film, which has been chosen for a National Film Award.

Directed by Kabir Khan, "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" was named the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment at the 63rd National Film Awards announcement here on Monday.

"It's one of the greatest films of its time. It spoke a lot about humanity, love, support and integrity. So, I'm very proud to be part of it. It was great working with Kabir (Khan) and Salman (Khan), who actually believed in the script and made it happen," Kareena said at the press conference of her forthcoming film "Ki & Ka".

"Bajrangi Bhaijaan" narrates the story of how an Indian man (Salman) discovers love and affection while taking a Pakistani mute girl (Harshaali Malhotra) back to her country.

A National Award honour is an "encouragement" for Salman Khan Films, which stepped into production with the movie.

"Salman Khan Films is delighted to win the National Award and get this recognition from the government of India for our film 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'. This is our first film under the banner and it is a huge encouragement for us, and for the vision that we have for it," said Amar Butala, COO, Salman Khan Films.

Is John Abraham upset with the reaction to 'Rocky Handsome'?

Is John Abraham upset with the reaction to 'Rocky Handsome'?

John Abraham is pretty upset with the reaction to his latest release 'Rocky Handsome'.

The action flick, which was also his production, did not do as well as he had expected. In fact, on the day of Holi, when reactions started coming in, Johnny boy was visibly tense. Despite the setback, he flew to New Delhi to honour a commitment for the film over the weekend.

The actor's earlier productions, Vicky Donor (2012) and Madras Cafe (2013) met with good response. John was appreciated as a producer as he knew what would work. Maybe he should steer clear from making films with subjects he is known for - action.

So this is Aaradhya's school

So this is Aaradhya's school

Kookaburra, a playschool institution in Mumbai, opened a brand new branch recently. The grand event involved an opening ceremony by former Miss World,Actress, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Kookaburra, a premium play school in Mumbai, has a vision of teaching little minds life skills that make them all set to face this challenging world. The school believes in building an emotional connect with these little angels. The school insists on a holistic development for the child which not just includes education but also other skills necessary for their self growth. This is probably why the children love to go to school everyday and in fact insist in going to school even on Sundays!

The star of the event, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan , mother to Aaradhya said it was a beautiful experience to be associated with this school right from the beginning. She said, `When we entrust our angel to you at Kookaburra, as parents we get a feeling of reassurance, security and are confident that our angle are nurtured, cherished, the way we want them to envisage to grow and blossom. My child will continue experiencing the rejuvenated Kookaburra and the very special world that you are having her experience at Kookaburra."

Parents are overwhelmed to see the changes in their child studying at Kookaburra. One such parent said, `Talking about the school right from discipline, hygiene, management, teaching & most importantly the security of the each child is at utmost level and personally taken care by Dr. Tejal Mehta and her team, the teaching helps the child actually understand what they are learning & enhances their mental & physical skills, which we personally notice in our child".

Well, looks like many parents agree with him on this point. Kookaburra is not just a playschool; it is a home, which shows care and affection much needed for the future stars of the country!!

Finally, Hrithik breaks his silence on legal battle with Kangana

Finally, Hrithik breaks his silence on legal battle with Kangana

After maintaining silence for months, Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has finally spoken about the controversy surrounding him and his alleged ex Kangana Ranaut. Here's what he says in an official statement...

"Anything private that becomes public gives rise to speculation and unnecessary controversies simply because the general public are not privy to the whole truth.

Out of respect for everyone involved, I followed the legal path to resolve the matter in question so as to keep it private. It was a breach of ethics to reveal the contents of a private legal notice. Dignified silence is dignified up to a point, but there comes a time when the silence needs to be broken to protect one's name, family and image.

The crux of the matter is that the mail id hroshan@email.com does NOT belong to me. I had filed a complaint in this regard with Mumbai cyber crime cell on 12th December 2014 when I learnt of this impersonator communicating with the said person. I have absolutely NO CONNECTION with this ID.

On 5th March we reactivated our complaint and the crime unit has made headway in tracking this person down. Once that is done this matter can be laid to rest. And finally, I believe that mental health is a grave and crucial issue, which merits serious discussion. I would never address it flippantly nor use it as a personal attack. I was requested to keep silent and I did so for 2 years.

This will be my final statement regarding this matter."
